An awareness program on Poshan Abhiyaan (National Nutrition Mission) was conducted at Nagarik Committee hall, Pandu by Department of Community Medicine, Pragjyotishpur Medical College on 18/09/2025 as a part of Rashtriya Poshan Maah Celebration. The program was conducted under the Presidentship of Dr. Beeva Boruah, Professor & Head, Department of Community Medicine, Pragjyotishpur Medical College.The program was inaugurated by Dr. Kumud Deka, Deputy Superintendent and In-charge of Pandu FRU, with sessions by the faculty members on key topics like Public health nutrition, importance of breastfeeding, anemia, vitamin A and Iodine deficiency disorders, men streaming in Poshan Abhiyaan.The program was attended by pregnant women, nursing mothers, ANMs, ASHAs and healthcare workers under Pandu FRU .The program was very interactive and Community Medicine, Pragjyotishpur Medical College is committed to organize similar sensitization activities in years to come.
